On January 15, 2024, a kick-off meeting was held in an online format on the topic "Natural resources, environmental quality and climate change". The speaker, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Olena Mitryasova outlined the main environmental risks that determine the sustainable development of the planet.
It is shown that such risk limits are climate change, reduction of biodiversity, increased consumption of nutrients, pollution by anthropogenic substances, reduction of the ozone layer, acidification of the World Ocean, reduction of fresh water reserves; reduction of forest cover areas, etc. Constructive transformations have been identified that can become a "road map" on the way out of the global environmental crisis.
