"PROTECTION OF ATMOSPHERIC AIR" -
such a topic was presented on February 21, 2024 by Vadym Chvyr, a young researcher of the Interdisciplinary Studies "European Green Dimensions". The project takes place with the support of the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union Jean Monnet_Department and is implemented at the Department of Ecology of Petro Mohyla National University of Ukraine.
The listeners participated in the discussion of the following issues: environmental problems of atmospheric air; Directive 2008/50/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council; European air quality index; Copernicus atmospheric monitoring service.
During the meeting, it was about the danger of atmospheric air pollution by aerosols on a global scale, as well as nitrogen and sulfur oxides, ozone, etc., about modern atmospheric air monitoring systems in the EU and the world, about environmental programs aimed at reducing atmospheric air pollution.
