On April 10, 2024, the topic "Energy- and resource-efficient construction" was presented to the participants of the Interdisciplinary Studies "European Green Dimensions". The event took place within the framework of the International Project, which is implemented at the Department of Ecology of the Black Sea National University named after Petro Mohyla with the support of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet EU Program.
During the meeting, Candidate of Geological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology, Viktor Smyrnov, revealed the following issues: evolution of approaches to nature management, energy efficiency of construction objects, ecological characteristics of building materials and products, product life cycle, building ecology and goals of green construction, features of the development of construction services in the EU, the green bond market in the world.
The speaker emphasized that the main ways to increase the efficiency of investments in green construction in Ukraine are: the formation of regional strategies for stimulating investments in green construction, the creation of consulting centers to assist in the certification of objects according to international assessment systems, which will allow to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 20% during production of building materials.
