International Environmental School "European Green Dimensions: Challenges for Ukraine" - Day 1

Brief report on the first day of the International Environmental School "European Green Dimensions: Challenges for Ukraine" within the framework of the JM EUGD project:
🎓Considered and discussed aspects of climate change problems and modern decarbonization trends; the impact of military operations on the environment;
🎓A separate block in the School programme was reports devoted to the security of water resources, namely: issues of water quality assessment for various purposes in connection with changes in the regulatory framework; global and historical analysis of changes in the ecological environment in lakes as a result of hydrological regulation; on the application of algae biotechnology to improve water quality; on the prevalence of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances.
🎓 The participants of the School had a unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with the aspects of green nanotechnologies, as well as the best practices of green construction in Ukraine and the world.
