International Environmental School "European Green Dimensions: Challenges for Ukraine" - Day 1
Brief report on the first day of the International Environmental School "European Green Dimensions: Challenges for Ukraine" within the framework of the JM EUGD project:
Considered and discussed aspects of climate change problems and modern decarbonization trends; the impact of military operations on the environment;A separate block in the School programme was reports devoted to the security of water resources, namely: issues of water quality assessment for various purposes in connection with changes in the regulatory framework; global and historical analysis of changes in the ecological environment in lakes as a result of hydrological regulation; on the application of algae biotechnology to improve water quality; on the prevalence of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. The participants of the School had a unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with the aspects of green nanotechnologies, as well as the best practices of green construction in Ukraine and the world.Sincere gratitude for meaningful reports to leading experts!
