The publishing house "OLDI+" published a textbook "Practicum on Environmental Monitoring of the Environment" by representatives of the Department of Ecology of Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University Olena Mitryasova, Viktor Smyrnov, and Andriy Mats.
This educational publication discusses the main methods for determining quality indicators: water; atmospheric air; Soil; and Food. In addition, you can get acquainted with some bioindication methods of the state of environmental objects. The educational publication addresses students, graduate students, and teachers of environmental and other natural specialties. According to the authors, the content of the book was supposed to demonstrate the basic principles of monitoring environmental objects, and possible instrumental monitoring methods that do not require expensive equipment and can be used during laboratory classes, field practices, term papers and theses, etc.
The publication of the textbook was made possible with the support of the EU Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Program within the framework of the International Project "European Green Dimensions" ERASMUS-JMO-2022-CHAIR, which is being implemented for the third year in a row at the Ecology Department under the leadership of prof. Olena Mitryasova.
Hard copies of the book have already been included in the collection of the scientific library of Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University and are looking forward to their readers.
