this topic was presented on February 22, 2023 to the participants of the Interdisciplinary Studies "European Green Dimensions", which take place with the support of the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union Jean Monnet_Chair. The project, under the leadership of prof. Olena Mitryasova, implemented at the Department of Ecology "Mohylyanka".
The listeners participated in the discussion of the following issues: environmental problems of atmospheric air; Directive 2008/50/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council; European air quality index; Copernicus atmospheric monitoring service.
During the meeting, the discussion was about the danger of atmospheric air pollution by aerosols, nitrogen and sulfur oxides, ozone, etc., about atmospheric air monitoring systems in the EU and the world, and about environmental programs to reduce atmospheric air pollution.
