On February 19, 2025, another meeting was held within the framework of the Interdisciplinary Studies "European Green Dimensions", organized with the support of the European Union's Erasmus+ Jean Monnet_Department Program. The event brought together experts, scientists, students, and all those who are interested in the problem of water resources management, which is one of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time.
The topic of the meeting was presented by the project coordinator, Prof. Olena Mitryasova.
During the meeting, the participants discussed key aspects of the state of water resources and their monitoring, in particular: water in figures and facts; Water Framework Directive as the basis for water monitoring; status of water resources and types of state monitoring; European experience in water monitoring; water problem of the city of Mykolaiv during wartime.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of European standards in the field of water monitoring and the adaptation of best practices in water resources management in the conditions of Ukraine. The discussion showed significant interest in the topic, confirming its importance for further research and implementation of effective solutions.
