First of all, these are students, graduate students of the "Ecology" specialty, as well as scientists, practitioners, and the public.
On December 18, 2023, the first online meeting on the topic "Natural resources, environmental quality and climate change" was held. The speaker, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Olena Mitryasova outlined the main environmental risks that determine the sustainable development of the planet.
It is shown that such risk zones are climate change, reduction of biodiversity, increased consumption of nutrients, pollution by anthropogenic substances, reduction of the ozone layer, acidification of the World Ocean, reduction of freshwater reserves; reduction of forest cover areas, etc. Constructive transformations have been identified that can become a "road map" on the way out of the global environmental crisis.
